PMAC's 80th annual conference
Focus on the future of supply chain management
Scheduled to be held in Winnipeg June 1-3, the 2005 PMAC annual conference is fast approaching. The Manitoba Host Conference Committee has finalized an exciting education program—with a stellar array of keynote and session speakers—that looks ahead to a future built on the cornerstone of supply chain management. The conference is based on the theme Pioneering New Frontiers and will answer the questions: ‘What are we going to be doing in five years?’ and ‘What do we need to know now to position our organizations to be the supply chain management leaders of the future?’
Keynote speakers
Vince Poscente:
With his combination of hands-on tools, edge-of-your-seat stories, heart-stopping videos and flat-out fun, peak performance strategist Vince Poscente (CSP, CPAE) claims the first 16.7 seconds of his presentation will change your life.
Alan Williams:
Assistant Deputy Minister (Materials) for Canada’s Department of National Defence, Alan Williams is a man with a mission. He’ll share the inside story—and his driving E3 philosophy of energy, excellence and enthusiasm—of his vision for the future of supply chain management for the Canadian Forces and the Department of National Defence.
Mike Duffy:
Canada’s best-known national TV journalist, political pundit and ultimate ‘Ottawa insider,’ Mike Duffy will kick off the closing day of the conference program with a lively and fascinating look at Inside Canadian Politics—based on his 25-year-career of award-winning journalism on Parliament Hill, right at the centre of Canadian political action and intrigue.
Barry Prentice:
In supply chain management circles in western Canada, the name Barry Prentice is immediately recognizable. Dr. Prentice, PhD, MCIT, is Director of the University of Manitoba’s Transport Institute and an Associate Professor at the University’s I.H. Asper School of Business.
