PO Creator ready to order
Montreal—Altura Legal Strategies Inc. and the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) announced the release of a new CD-ROM called PO Creator late July.
It’s the second in a series of CDs developed to help procurement
managers draft legal documents.
The disc features over 700 sample legal clauses for supply agreements, purchase orders and other bid documents. Sample clauses range from delivery and warranty, to confidentiality and liability.
“Procurement specialists often have a standard supply agreement or purchase order which they’d like to improve on, but often don’t have the legal jargon to do so,” said Sandy Chalkoun, lawyer and author of the CD. “This tool saves them time by giving them a variety of clauses to choose from depending on their needs. It will also give them fresh ideas and clauses they may not even have considered.”
PMAC is promoting PO Creator—and the first CD in the series, called RFP Creator—and will handle its distribution in Canada. See www.pmac.ca. b2b
