OIPMAC raising career awarenes

Guelph, Ont.—The Ontario Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (OIPMAC) has scheduled a career workshop for March 23, called "Introduction to SCM as a Profession/Direction of SCM."
The session is intended to provide an introduction to supply chain management as a promising career, and to offer an overview of the latest strategic trends in the field.
It will also include information on educational opportunities to develop professional status, and emerging occupations in supply chain management.
"As one of the most sought-after professions in Canada, supply chain management is becoming more strategic, providing enterprises with innovative leadership to achieve a competitive edge in an evolving global marketplace," the OIPMAC reported.
