Descartes to buy Cube Route
Waterloo, Ont.—The Descartes Systems Group, an on-demand logistics software provider, has signed an agreement to buy Toronto-based Cube Route Inc., a logistics management company known for its real-time driver and route tracking technology.
Cube Route's software is offered on a pay-as-you go subscription basis, and is typically used for "last mile" delivery. The technology was recognized in Top 100 award lists in various supply chain and logistics magazines.
