Benoit Brossoit has been named senior vice-president of service centres and operations with aircraft engine maker Pratt & Whitney Canada (Longueuil, Que.) Brossoit will provide strategic direction on the company's global supply chain and manufacturing operations.

Marcel Riou is the new vice-president of logistics and supply chain with IPL Inc., a producer of moulded plastic products in Saint-Damien, Que. He began with the company in 1983, holding various titles, including plant director.

Mark Foote has been appointed president and chief merchandising officer, responsible for sourcing, procurement, merchandising and supply chain activities at Loblaw Companies Ltd. (Toronto).

Toronto-based Cott Corp., a beverage company, has hired Rick Dobry as chief manufacturing and supply chain officer. Throughout his career, Dobry has worked with various consumer goods companies, including Tropicana, where he worked in supply chain, logistics and purchasing.
