Xerox hits 1,000 mark
Staff at Xerox’s Research Centre of Canada (Mississauga, Ont.) celebrate a recent milestone—achieving their 1,000th US patent. With only 120 scientists, the centre has generated about 160 ideas each year in imaging technology. The centre was responsible for developing a nanotechnology system that enables less toner usage, and involves a more environmentally-friendly process, according to Xerox.
