NAFA calls for award nominations
Iselin, NJ—The National Association of Fleet Administrators Inc. (NAFA) and Bell Canada are calling for submissions for the Larry Goill Award for Quality Fleet Management Ideas. The application deadline is March 3, 2006.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and honoured at NAFA’s upcoming conference May 8 in Florida. The award is named in honour of the late Larry Goill, who served as NAFA’s vice-president for Canada, and supervising engineer of fleet services for Bell Canada.
The annual award recognizes individuals whose creative ideas have improved fleet management. Their actions improved productivity or delivered bottom-line cost savings. Previous winners demonstrated ideas such as:
• Use of computers or the Internet;
• Strategic alliances;
