Waterloo Ont.: Dalsa Corp. has signed a definitive deal to sell equipment used to manufacture x-ray sensitive camera products that were made and serviced at the company’s former Colorado Springs operations.
The move completes the divestiture of the US business that the Waterloo, Ont. digital imaging and semiconductor company began exiting last September.
The buyer of the assets is Echoserve Inc. of Golden, Colo. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Echoserve is a field service company and repair depot for diagnostic ultrasound, mammography and patient monitoring equipment. The US company plans to transfer the equipment and inventory at the Colorado Springs plant to its Golden plant, Dalsa said.
Dalsa has since transferred the manufacturing of industrial and strategic x-ray imaging products from the Colorado Springs to other plants.
