Montreal: Flight training firm CAE Inc. has ended its fiscal 2008 year with total military orders of more than $730 million and a total of 37 bids for full-flight simulators on the civil equipment side.
The Montreal-based company said its civil aviation training business increased its revenue simulator equivalent unit count—a measure of the number of total full-flight simulators available to generate revenue in CAE’s training network—to 108 during the year from 99 in the prior year.
The company expects to increase that total by 10% by the end of fiscal 2009.
