Rutter awarded $1.6M Harrison Lake contract
|

Vancouver: Rutter Inc. has been awarded a $1.6-million contract to supply electrical engineering and other services for the Harrison Hydro power project in Harrison Lake, BC.
The contract was awarded by Peter Kiewit Sons to supply electrical engineering services and protection and control systems technology for the run-of-river clean power project.
The project will have six remote powerhouses connected to a central substation that will allow the 138 kV project feed to connect to the existing BC Hydro 360 kV transmission line.
Rutter’s controls and automation division, Rutter Hinz, will design the main interconnect substation and supply the protection system.
It will also provide electrical engineering with Peter Kiewit Sons, British Columbia Transmission Corp, and all third party electrical engineers.
