Reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is accountable for the development and implementation of the annual sales budget, including sales revenues, margins, and departmental expenses for the Pacific Region which includes British Columbia and Alberta, as well as Washington, Oregon and California . The RSM provides ongoing leadership to a sales team that is spread out across the entire Region and also works closely with the Plant Manager at the Langley , British Columbia facility to ensure manufacturing, new product innovations, new market identification, customer service and sales strategies are all aligned. The RSM plays a critical role in meeting the unique needs of the customer while partnering with operations to strive for optimum utilization and efficiency at the Langley facility. As the ideal candidate you possess a minimum of 10 years' of related sales management and/or marketing experience within a technical solutions sales environment. Besides having completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline, you bring a strong strategic leadership orientation with highly developed communication skills, interpersonal skills and a proven track record in leading a geographically dispersed team to meet or exceed sales, customer service, and new business development objectives. Some experience in the plastic packaging industry would be beneficial.
