Anti-static, electrically conductive latex coating
|

Master Bond has introduced LTX-117G, a low cost, electrically conductive, water-based adhesive, sealant and coating. According to the company, the product is a one-part, UV stable latex adhesive where the electrical conductivity is achieved by the incorporation of non-metallic graphite filler. Master Bond Polymer System LTX-117G dries by water evaporation at ambient temperatures, to provide cost effective coatings with controlled electrical properties including use in ESD anti-static systems. It has a service temperature of -60°F to 250°F.

LTX-117G is characterized by long-term viscosity stability, flexibility and good physical strength characteristics, low odor and good adhesion to a wide range of both rigid and flexible substrates, says the company. The graphite filler also features excellent oxidation resistance. The LTX-117G latex product is water soluble and does not contain any VOC solvents.
