a chrome-free, fume-free plating process that offers decorative
chrome performance without the expense, hazards and environmental
problems associated with chrome.
ACS-940 is recommended for plating over nickel and steel
to produce a bright, stain-free chrome-like deposit. It
can also be used on PVD-coated products. The company claims
that it offers outstanding throwing and covering power,
plate distribution, white-bright deposits, a wide bright
plating range, faster plating rates and superior corrosion
resistance compared to other decorative chrome systems.
It produces a white-bright blue-hued colour that duplicates
the appearance of decorative chrome plating baths.
