Dow Corning has introduced a 100 per cent active silicone
fluid for UV curing systems and a low molecular weight silicone
reactive intermediate. The company claims that both products
provide excellent durability and performance and allow formulators
to be less dependent on traditional solvents. Dow Corning
930 additive maintains solid wetting and leveling performance
in low concentration UV cured coatings. Dow Corning 3217
Intermediate enhances thermal and weathering resistance when
used for coil coatings, appliance finishes and other high
temperature applications.
