Graco has developed new contractor and FTx guns designed, according to the company, to be the longest lasting guns on the market.
The guns feature Graco's new “FlexSeal totally enclosed needle design. The company says it's a “breakthrough” needle design technology that protects the needle from the paint to prevent wear and spitting. Graco claims that since the needle has no exposure to paint, it reduces wear, resulting in 70 per cent longer needle life. With the seat repositioned closer to the tip, it means 60 per cent “dead space” is eliminated.
A modular needle cartridge makes the guns easy to service as users simply remove the trigger cross pin and unthread the front housing to change out the needle. The guns have a durable nickel finish which is corrosion resistant and easy to clean.
Other features include:
- A new trigger lock and gun trigger for smooth, lightweight pull with simple thumb-engaged safety lock.
- A trigger guard that detaches from the gun to access the HandTite Guard and acts as a wrench to access the filter in the gun handle.
- An EasyOut Gun Filter design—the filters are from the inside out to prevent the filter from collapsing.
- An EasyGlide Swivel Connection with dual-seal swivel design to reduce sealing friction under pressure.
