Korzite Coatings Inc., Guelph, ON, has announced that it has acquired certain assets of K. Bottschen Mfg. Co. Ltd., Brampton, ON. Bottschen (also known as KB Coatings) will be closing its premises and all production will be relocated to Korzite's manufacturing site in Guelph.
"Bottschen has a strong and growing reputation as a supplier of primers and coatings mainly targeted at steel and industrial manufacturing. Our product offering will be strengthened as a result of this merger of interests and allow Korzite to focus more on regulatory compliant technologies," said Dan Thomas, general manager of Korzite Coatings Inc. "Korzite will now be better positioned to support our expanding customer base which serves the industrial paint market throughout North America. We see, as an additional strength, that both organizations are registered to the current ISO quality standard."
