Siltech Corp, Toronto, ON, a manufacturer of silicone surfactants and specialty silicones, has recently completed a significant expansion of its research and development facility at its Toronto location. The $2 million expansion and upgrade will enable Siltech to further exploit its patented and proprietary technology, as well as expand joint development work with its customers in designing and creating silicones for their specific needs, says the company. Siltech, with offices in Toronto and Atlanta, produces silicone surfactants, organomodified silicones and reactable silicones for the personal care, polyurethane foam, inks and coatings, textile and other industrial markets.
