Powder Coatings Institute executive director resigns
|

Effective April 30, Greg Bocchi is stepping down as executive director of the Powder Coatings Institute, Alexandria, VA, after more than 24 years with the organization. Bocchi has accepted the position of president of The Vinyl Institute in Arlington, VA. The Vinyl Institute represents manufacturers of vinyl resin and vinyl systems additives. PCI president Steve Houston said, "The PCI Board, its members, and the PCI staff would like to thank Greg Bocchi for his 24 years of dedicated service to the organization and the industry. Greg helped establish a successful trade show, and a variety of training materials, publications, and marketing programs, all aimed at increasing the use of powder coating as a viable and versatile industrial finishing method, and promoting the use and benefits of powder coating and powder coated products." The PCI board is reviewing resumes, but there is currently no definite timeline in place to find a replacement for Bocchi, said PCI's Jeff Palmer.
