|

Two subsidiaries of the holding company RPM International Inc., Medina, OH, have recently announced acquisitions. On March 5, RPM subsidiary Tremco illbruck International, Cologne, Germany, purchased Prosytec SAS from a subsidiary of Goodrich Corporation. With sales of approximately $39 million (euro 26 million), Prosytec is a provider of sealants for the construction and window assembly markets in Southern and Eastern Europe. The company has been a long-time partner of Tremco and has served major European markets under a licensing arrangement since 1997. Prosytec is headquartered in Paris and has a manufacturing plant in Dijon, France. Prosytec will become part of the Tremco illbruck International organization, the European operating platform for Tremco.

On March 11, RPM subsidiary The Euclid Chemical Company, Cleveland, OH, acquired Increte Systems, Odessa, FL. With sales of approximately $15 million, Increte is a manufacturer of decorative concrete systems that recreate the look of natural stone, wood, tile, brick and pavers using concrete. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The existing Increte management team will remain in place and the company will operate as a stand-alone business unit of Euclid Chemical reporting to Moorman Scott, Euclid Chemical's executive vice president.
