The 2008 PaintExpo in Karlsruhe, Germany, which took place March 11-14, drew 5,924 visitors from 43 countries, an increase of more than 20 per cent from the premiere of the event in 2006, according to organizers. Over 18 per cent of visitors came from outside Germany to see the 285 exhibitors. "In comparison with 2006, we had a significantly larger booth this year, and we increased booth personnel to 10 people each day who were all very busy for the entire duration of the event," said Sandra Gehringer, marketing manager for Frei Lacke Emil Frei GmbH & Co.
The next PaintExpo international trade fair for industrial coatings technology will take place in the spring of 2010. Booth reservations received to date already indicate that the event will once again grow, say organizers.
