In an effort to assist small printers with four-colour
printing strategies, the National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP)
has released its 2008/2009 4C Practices & Pricing Study. Based
on survey results from 315 respondents (conducted between October and
December 2007) the study identifies four-colour pricing practices based
on quantity and processes, and looks at trends in prepress charges, four-colour
process printing, colour copier pricing, basic paper costs, and more.
The survey also includes user ratings for 15 different presses and three
vendors of digital copiers.
The study was conducted by industry consultant John Stewart, on behalf
of NAQP. The publication is available to NAQP members for US$155 (non-members
US$255), visit http://www.NAQP.com/publications for more information. |
