Online printing phenom VistaPrint is expanding its production facility in Windsor, Ontario for the second time since 2005. The plans include almost 140,000 square feet of additional space (39,000 sq. ft. office space and over 80,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing floor), bringing the facility�s total area to just under 300,000 sq. ft.

�The expansion of the Windsor manufacturing facility has been undertaken to meet the expected increases in North American demand,� said Wendy Cebula, president of VistaPrint North America in a statement.

The Windsor plant is responsible for the printing and distribution of orders throughout North America. The company averages 33,000 orders per day in its Windsor and Venlo, the Netherlands facilities, up from 22,000 orders just a year ago. VistaPrint employs more than 1,400 people.
