The SV-2100 series is a stand-alone system with a measuring range of 100 mm and is available with a manual (maximum drive speed of 20mm/s (X) or motorized stand with a maximum drive speed of 40mm/s (X), 20mm/s (Z).
All models have a 7.5 in. colour LCD, with colour icon display and touch panel. Enhanced functionality includes data storage, a built-in high speed printer, and memory card slot. The joystick is integrated into the dedicated control unit allowing easy and quick positioning. Fine positioning of a small stylus, required for measuring the inner side of a small hole, can be made using the manual knob. The dedicated control unit is equipped with simple input functions allowing inputting using drawing symbols of ISO/JIS roughness standards. Measuring condition settings can be easily input by directly selecting a drawing symbol for surface roughness from the menu.

A variety of form analyses (uneven steps, uneven area, circle, angle, coordinate difference, steps and slope amount) are available as well as 46 analysis parameters compliant with 1997 ISO and 2001 JIS surface roughness standards.
