Lissmac's latest development is a product line to remove laser-oxide, de-burr metal blanks and fully de-slag plasma and laser parts. A new concept, the system is capable of automatically facilitating the above processes for top and bottom of parts in one single pass. Both sides are brushed/sanded simultaneously without creating a grain on the surface. Instead it creates maximum rounding of edges and satisfactory oxide removal for full adherence of any subsequent coating, as well as easing the welding of the part, all accomplished in one single pass.

In today's environment, large burrs are rare. The key is to remove any sharpness from edges so that paint coverage is more homogeneous or in the case of bare parts like stainless steel, safety against cuts and "feel" when touching bare edges, are improved.
