The F4722 shoulder milling cutter, the F4723 face milling cutter and the F4726 helical cutter from WALTER made their debut at the IMTS 2008 event in Chicago, IL. The F4722 Shoulder milling cutter features D=6-40m, and a cylindrical shank, ScrewFit HSK adapter. The F4723 Face milling cutter features D=50-125mm with a Shell mount adapter while the F4726 Porcupine cutter features D=32-63mm with a HSK63 adapter.

The shoulder milling and helical cutters have a setting angle kappa of 90°, the face milling cutter is available with 90° and 75°.

All milling cutters have brazed and precision ground PCD cutting edges. The cutting edge geometries and tool bodies are suitable for roughing as well as for finishing operations. The PCD cutting tool material and the high precision of the tools ensure mirror surfaces and high machining performance. All tools are pre- balanced to G 6.3 at n = 16,000 1/min.
