Team Machine Tools moves to bigger space

Team Machine Tools Inc., Mississauga, ON, has moved to a larger facility. Team Machine Tools is an independent service provider and retrofitter to the machine tool industry.
"When we started Team Machine Tools in 2002, there were only four partners," says Daryl Grice, president. "We now have in excess of 30 employees forming several divisions, including project management, engineering, applications and parts, so we're really pleased that we now have a building that not only brings all the departments under one roof, but that also greatly expands our shop capabilities."
As part of the changes, Mirko Dakic has been named senior project manager.
The new office has 11,000 square feet of warehouse space alone that is completely outfitted for machine tools, including overhead cranes and bigger door and ceiling heights, ideal to accommodate the large boring and milling machines that Team services, retrofits and sells on a regular basis.
Team Machine Tools' new location will also house its latest division, Crane Automation, a line of CNC boring and milling machines customized for the North American market and distributed exclusively by Team Machine Tools Inc.
"There's no question that this move has huge benefits both to Team Machine and to our customers," says Cam Allan, sales manager. "We have completely streamlined our business so that we're in a position to expand our capabilities and services, improve our efficiency and continue our growth into new sectors, including the power generation and aerospace industries."
